Tom Browns Brasserie
Tom Browns Brasserie is one of the finest Restaurants in Nottingham, set in a converted Victorian schoolhouse, beside the River Trent. It has all the charm and character of the period, combined with a modern continental image.
Our Nottingham restaurants name: 'Tom Browns', comes from a 19th century novel written by Thomas Hughes. The story is set in a Victorian school and is based upon the public school-days of a boy called Tom Brown.
Tom Browns was born and has been the property of Stuart & Eileen Perkins for fifteen years. However it only became a Brasserie in November 1998. In 2001, this family business was taken over by their two sons, Adam & Robin Perkins.
Our no-smoking restaurant boasts a mezzanine floor area with wonderful river views. With a small entrance bar (where smoking is permitted) & open fires this venue is invitingly cosy, but in the summer months has an outdoor seated area, over looking the River Trent, where you can eat, drink & watch the world go by...
Our Nottingham restaurants reputation for good food has grown from strength to strength. We aim to deliver a high quality product to the general public. Fresh, innovative, international cuisine. Fine wines, premium lagers, ales and the service and atmosphere to match.
Tom Browns has an extensive la carte menu (approx. 20-25 for 3 courses) and has developed a great value for money EARLY BIRD Menu (10.50 - 2 courses / 12.95 - 3 courses). From Monday to Saturday lunchtimes we also offer a Snack Menu & on then Sunday lunches, our Early Bird Menu & traditional roast meals.
