We welcome the opportunity to introduce you to our school in Gunthorpe. We are really pleased to have strong links with Tom Brown’s restaurant in Gunthorpe. We are also very proud of our children and their achievements. Here’s what the children say about their school:

Our attainment has been very good for a number of years but recently:

2010

• 2010 showed a continued improvement over the previous 3 years.
• 2010 also saw our highest ever % of level 5 pupils (level 4 being the national standard) with 85% gaining the higher level in reading; English(71%) and Maths(50%).
• High attainers were given targeted support and this produced exceptional high end results.

2011

• 100% Y6 pupils gained the national expectation of level 4 or above in English and Maths.

 • Over one third of children in Y6 exceeded the required 2 levels progress
•  Over one third progressed to the higher level 5
• All our children have a guaranteed place at The Toot Hill Academy in Bingham which is in the top 4% schools nationally.

We have had some notable individual successes and we are proud of the fact that children who have needed extra support do extremely well. We have very small class sizes and we are able to give a great deal of individual attention. We have a limited number of places available. OUR 3 RESTAURANTS' 2012 CHRISTMAS CHARITY

This December the Riverbank, Tom Browns & the Farndon Boathouse will be supporting a great charity with the help of our diners. Street Smart fundraises for the homeless by adding a voluntary £1 per table to your bill during the winter months. If you don’t want to contribute – or if you’d like to give more just say so! Street Smart aims to provide comfort and hope to people who live on the streets near restaurants where others dine in style. Your £1 will contribute to the work being done in Nottingham to enable the homeless and vulnerable to rebuild their lives, and to regain their dignity.
